Lenore’s Works, Words of Love If you want to truly understand San Francisco’s current love revolution, go see Lenore Kandel. The North Beach lady poet, whose “Love Book” has been busted for its erotic frankness in both the Northern California city and Los Angeles (Free Press Bookstore on March 20), is a veteran of the late ’50s “Beat Generation” literary renaissance and has contributed as much as anyone to the ideological atmosphere which created the current mind blowing scene in the Haight Ashbury District.
